Which adhesion do you recommend? I've seen bulldog and duplicolor. Duplicolor more available and cheaper where I am. Go with whatever is easier to get your paws on. This isn’t a very technical application and may require some touch up down the road.

If you are painting a kayak, prep it with a wire brush on a drill. Rough up every square inch of the kayak. Then prime it and paint it with krylon fusion. 9 years of selling abrasives I’ve learned a thing or two So,you're an abrasive salesman? LOL. Sorry, it was just too easy. I'm sure that one is pretty old to you after 9 years. Dont let AU7 "rub you the wrong way" lol I'm sure he's heard them all I reckon

60 is way to0 coarse, you’re just looking yo scuff the surface to give the paint a mechanical bite
Hit it with 120 or 150
7447 Scotchbrite hand pad
Adhesion promoter
Krylon fusion
Clear coat in whatever shine level you want matte, satin or gloss If you know, you know. And he knows.
