So he killed himself because he was innocent, yeah I don't believe that BS for a second. What reason did the police have to frame him?
It's a sad story and I'm not trying to make light of it, but there are questions surrounding the suicide and how much the legal troubles factored into it. The actual story is that Lacy got into a dispute with a family member during an event and pulled a gun and fired it into the ground at the dudes feet. He then fled the scene and the family called the police. The police located his vehicle and initiated pursuit. Lacy crashed out and when the LEO's approached the car they found him suffering from a self inflicted gunshot wound. This was two days prior to the convening of a Grand Jury to decided whether to indict him on felony hit and run charges. He was never formally charged with any crimes.
