Was he not wanted on charges of felony hit and run for fleeing the scene plus driving the wrong way? Somethings are not adding up. Why take your own life if you’re not guilty? Was the only thing that defined that kids life football? So sad.

I forgot about KL committing suicide. Saw some of the reports this morning, hope the cops that falsified this are held accountable with the harshest punishment possible.

I wonder what motive the police would have for falsifying the report? This whole thing doesn't pass muster in my mind so I really think there should be a really detailed investigation.

It's a sad story and I'm not trying to make light of it, but there are questions surrounding the suicide and how much the legal troubles factored into it. The actual story is that Lacy got into a dispute with a family member during an event and pulled a gun and fired it into the ground at the dudes feet. He then fled the scene and the family called the police. The police located his vehicle and initiated pursuit. Lacy crashed out and when the LEO's approached the car they found him suffering from a self inflicted gunshot wound. This was two days prior to the convening of a Grand Jury to decided whether to indict him on felony hit and run charges. He was never formally charged with any crimes.

Certainly looks that way now as LE releases more info. Always keep in mind, professional LEOs don't react to lawyers or family accusations. They have a process they have to follow and generally, it does not include responding to these accusations.
