I was all for Hegseth being appointed because he is not of institutional officer rank. I also know the backstory on how this philosophy got instituted because of the fairly recent SEAL commander of BUDs getting attacked by the institution after a student died from using steroids (scape goat), turned into a chit show and how he was consulted by the Trump administration before they took office to discuss such philosophy concerning institutionalized officers doing the right thing vs protecting the institution. But, showboat stunts such as this leave me wondering if a career officer might have been a better.

First change they could make is to raise the ASVAB score, require a High School Diploma, and no criminal record. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

I support everything to make the military shape up, it was still a waste of time.
