Has anyone here used ozone bags or an Ozonics unit for scent control? I’m looking at the ozone bags you can put your clothes in, and I’d really like to hear your honest thoughts on them. Do they actually work, and are they worth it?

An ozone generator is a UV lamp and a fan. They have been sold for various ineffective purposes since there have been UV lamps. Ozone has to come in contact with something to react. If your funk is soaked down into the cloth, how's the O3 gonna touch it? Ozone does make it difficult for your nose smell if there's a heavy concentration of it in the air. You can smell the ozone reacting with air, tho.
Wash your clothes in baking soda or Woolite or Sportswash. Line dry and store in a plastic tote outside.

100% they work. Now, they will not remove your current scent, but they do remove odors that will “stick” to brush and leaves walking in. When I started using an ozone bag to treat clothes before each hunt deer cutting my trail totally stopped. I’ve always had an issue with getting busted, and it’s happened way less after the ozone treatments.

My Mom loves to hunt and she does the whole ozonics routine. She basically has a walk in closet type contraption that she puts ALL hunting gear in. She also runs the units while in the stand. It could be coincidence, but she kills bigger deer than me! 😂

Never used the bags but I used an Ozonics 200 in the stand and blind and it works like others have said. Just have to mindful of wind direction.

I've killed two mature bucks on the ground in the last 2 year within 15 yards, both times had Ozone generator on tree at head level. I use the Zero Trace, they have been discontinued, but can still be bought for the CHEAP online.

Ozone is highly reactive and bad for lots of synthetics. Unless you're pushing into the fabric to get at all the scent particles, it's just surface degradation and not much, really.
If you think the hunting ozone generators are too expensive to try, then look for the same thing marketed for other purposes. Indoor air purifiers could probably be found with the same specs, but they won't have cool names or camo.
I do think it's obvious that a lot of the positives attributed to the ozone generators for hunting are coincidental to other practices adopted in conjunction with the generator. If you're starting out with clean, scent-free clothes that you keep in a scent tight container and put them on/off after you get out of the truck, you can't really say whether it was the ozone that worked or not.
