Wanted to watch the Tech game on Saturday, so Don and I took off Friday to fish. We ended up the day with 198 lbs of catfish caught and released. Also got our first triple take down for 2025. After over a month chasing down electrical issues, we finally had a day with zero problems. Except the fuel gauge read empty. Got home and the positive lead had pulled out from the butt connector. No bad for a 2004 boat.

Nice! What were they hitting on? The smaller ones were caught on threadfin shad. When we ran out of shad, we switched to cut bluegill. That brought in the larger ones, including the triple. All day, we caught lots of 3-5 lb channels. But when we needed just one more to break 200, we couldn't buy a bite.
