Ha- wouldn't bother me for every 2 and 3 yr old 8 point to lose 1/2 their rack before gun season on our place... would surely contribute to get some age on them. To each his own about the deer you want and do shoot, just my .02

Many thin horned Bucks in FL. Just rarely ever see them broken. ? ?
