I still have all my rc planes although I havent flown anything in a few years due to life getting in the way. Slipperyrock gave some good advice, reach out to Birmingham RC club, this is the club I flew at for years and years. Maybe reach out to one of the club officers and chat with them. I was one of the flight training pilots there. Maybe decide if you want to go electric or with glow power,...most things have swung in the direction of electric power now I think. Ive actually got one or two high wing trainers in my basement that have not yet flown that were designed for glow powered engines but could be made E powered easily. I used to race club 40 pylon races- man, you talk about FUN!...we held several races up there at Bham RC as well as at other clubs. Here is a blast from the past; its a club40 pylon race up in Huntsville from 2010 that had like 29 or 30 pilots entered.Hard to think that this was 15 years ago!
