Looks like ol rotten air filter that’s been soaked in gas This was mine....the air filter itself was pristine....looked like it just came out of the box. Very weird...the air filter did have crumbles of this item embedded within the folds. Definitely not a old crusty air filter this thing is babied and maintained regularly

it's an intake air filter for Polaris Rangers, My 2011- 800 has one under the hood. They are pre-filters, about 4 inches square.
