I'm pretty sure it was talked about before but I can't find it. What are the best and fastest growing trees for privacy? I would really prefer to not see the neighbors behind me.

Leland cypress what I’m planting.
Or holly bushes.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Leland cypress what I’m planting.
Or holly bushes. This is what we have at the cabin and so far after so good after 10 years. Make sure and plant them AT LEAST 10' apart. They spread out quite a bit and even at 10' they will be more than touching, they will be all up in each other's business.

Leland are susceptible to cankers. Go with a Thuja Giant, better resistance or go with privet.

My nursery guy recommended a spruce that is similar to the Leland, he said the Leland’s are susceptible to some kind of disease.

A direct answer to your actual, specific query is not contained herein.
Hate privet a lot. Bamboo is hard to keep where you want it. Continuing with the not what you asked about theme, I've got some azalea hedge over 8' long the back yard boundary. I also have some gardenia that would be that tall, but I keep those pruned to shape because they're right by the house.
Gardenia won't cost you a dime if you root from cuttings. We know about a dozen people around here and a few elsewhere who all have in common that our gardenia hedges came from the same single bush.
I got a neighbor who likes to ride a section the property line along the back forty to look at "my" deer. I planted a screen of Egyptian wheat. I have seen that stuff stay standing a long while. Obviously this isn't suitable for the front yard.

Thanks for the correction. I was thought they were Leland. I’ll be sure to plant the others
