Has the rifle in the woods been confirmed as the weapon that killed Charlie? Seems odd shooter would even carry rifle with him when exiting if he was just gonna hide it in the woods. No, and no comment has been made about the actual bullet itself. At the very least they should be able to get fast measurement of the bullet and determine 30 cal vs .223 vs 40 cal. If its in the 40 caliber category then you got a handgun as the weapon and .223 is not the 30-06 found in the woods.
