No hayzeus I’m not lying and not a Karen. Lives have been threatened over this. I’ve kept my mouth shut like many that know the actual truth. It’s leaking out now and nothing nefarious happened that’s fact and will come out.
I just got the third person that actually witnessed everything and it’s nothing like what is being portrayed.
That is my only concern. I’m not keeping up with the Karen’s, instead trying to squash the vapid lies.

The school officials should have really done a better job with this. In the beginning it was deemed accidental at best how it mushroomed into held down and beaten by a gang and covered up is what the Karen’s made it to be

Unless the law has changed drastically, it is not illegal, as Carter says, for LE to question juveniles without a parent or guardian present. The juveniles do have the right to have one there if they wish as well as having a lawyer present. In Alabama they are made aware of these rights just like Miranda. The reading of these rights is very close to Miranda but with the part about a parent being present if they wish is added.
My first thought was it was a hazing incident and the school didn’t want to publicize this and that left them wide open for the Karenfest on Facebook. To be clear though this is my first impression and I then quit reading about it because of the stupidity on the case. I’ll trust the professionals to investigate and then read about it. I just don’t believe professional people with good jobs would risk those jobs and possibly criminal charges just to keep a high school QB eligible.

The same like I’ve said several times these families are really good people and it’s terrible what happened. I can’t imagine getting that call and then rushing to UAB. Happened on a Tuesday and he was back home on Thursday. Said he’ll be fine after a few weeks. Said no permanent damage. They had a vigil for him this afternoon at the park by the waterfall. I could see penning there when I came home for the farm. Looked to be a good turnout. The game last night was packed and not sure of any protest.

Heres the boys dad talking about what happened. Not exactly out of the horses mouth, but the horses dad. Carter, this dont exactly line up with what youre saying.

Several accounts told to me by those there or knew first hand person that was
I mentioned Karen’s over and over because it went from kids acting up horsing around to a malicious beat down and as far as I know no one has came out and said that. The parents even said we were told within hours what happened except UAB docs said it was not a fall. Other docs have said it most certainly could be from a fall.
Bear in mind this happened at the end of weights next to the parking lot where parents were sitting in their cars to pick up their kids many players around and told 2 coaches. No one saw anything much cause they’re all being rambunctious. If it had been a fight or beat down there would’ve been numerous witnesses. It would’ve caught folks attention many of which was close by.
So many lies were told online nobody knew what to believe and over that weekend it tuned into a chit show. Basically if anyone that spoke out against this narrative was berated or worse and they’d take their post down. There was enough death threats and school threats the game was on lock down to the point couldn’t down close to the stadium and had a hard perimeter.
I’ll say this and be done with it
It was turned over because the boys parents were told this was no accident and are pushing hard. I even stated I’d be doing the same
Lawsuits have been mentioned so folks shut up on their own Every facet of this being litigated is why outside resources are being used. Everyone knows everyone so there’s conflicts no matter which way you turn.
I did misspeak, the town is not torn apart, a very few number is. It’s the outsiders that are causing problems. Most around here are just waiting to see how this plays out and are weary from the ugliness. The football stadium was absolutely packed to show support. This weekend is homecoming so I expect worst
