I suspect some parents of the kid/kids involved are influential in the city and that would explain a lot. It appears as a coverup because at first it was deemed accidental until it was pushed on Friday when I first heard of it. Over the weekend it metastasized into some grandiose scheme

The admin should’ve come out Monday and said this is what we know at this time and give a timeline.

They didn’t I’m guessing because the kids being juvys and pending lawsuits. It appears that went into protection mode or dumbassery or both

The one family is well known but so is the other Heck almost everyone involved from kids to families to judiciary/law enforcement know each other in some way or another

We kinda laughed that the one family was very wealthy. I asked if they had money I didn’t know about

The dad has a really good job and they don’t want for food etc…. But nothing extravagant, no more than most in here


I’ll add that one of the attending docs at UAB supposedly said those injuries were not from a fall which prompted other docs to say they have seen such cases with falls with those injuries in their practices. Notice I said plural doctors says they have.

I think that’s where the contention ramped up from
