There was an incident at Deshler last week where a student was dropped and face-planted. The only question is was it intentional or horseplay. I’ve been told horseplay and believe that to be the case. I know of, you can say all the parents. I shot their weddings or siblings weddings. The stepfather is a really great guy. The so-called instigators parents are well known and really good people too. The mom’s family are good people. The biodad I have no clue about but seems legit.


The way this has played out and the vitriol on Facebook has reached the point of death threats against the school and the OB guys family
It’s stupid what this has become simply because the administration at the school let it fester to the point they look guilty as hell and has perpetuated this fiasco.

I’m positive lawyers have come in and shut everyone up because this will be litigated no doubt.

Several misconceptions or better known as lies are

The QB is 17, not 18 and why his name is not mentioned by Leo’s.
His so-called girlfriend is a freshman 13 or 14 idk
The QB has been called a pedophile over and over like they know if sex is happening

The incident happened on the steps by the stadium others have said he was dragged there from a darkened staircase or in the stadium but the 911 call said those steps by the street

There was no CPR on the victim, folks claimed he died there instead he was knocked out with facial lacerations etc….

He was not held down kicked and beaten up within inches of his life

He was medflighted to UAB and I’m sure it was horrible for his parents no doubt

Everyone there knew what had happened and the admin didn’t come out and stay on top of this because it was deemed and accident

It metastasized into this crap because of all the Karen’s and the male version of

There’s other lies that too trivial to address

The only question I know is whether it was in intentional or not.

I’ve been told it was horseplay and kidding around, the QB owned up to dropping him on his face. By accounts the kid that was dropped blacked out and went limp and the qb couldn’t hold him any longer. The kid that was dropped supposedly has been having issues from a head injury last year. I cannot confirm.

There’s some gal that’s been keeping it stirred up and acts likes she’s Nancy Grace

It’s gotten bad enough stepdad and mom came out and asked everyone to chill

He has a fractured skull and multiple orbital fractures…that wasn’t “oh we were playing and accidentally dropped him”. Someone beat the crap out of that kid

A lady stated her husband was being arrested for spousal abuse until the ring doorbell cam showed she fell on her own accord

Two coaches were present and people in their cars saw it as well. Unfortunately it was out of camera range

Exactly. He doesn’t remember much about it happening. Happened on a Tuesday and was back home on Thursday. Seems to be doing well for now and they don’t expect any permanent damage

No it’s the QB that’s 17 and all I really know is she’s a freshman and being told the same as the guy that was hurt

The 15 old was giving the QB a hard time and I was told it was o all in jest and colorful poking the bear so to speak

The age gap may be questionable but I’ve seen it since my days in HS so I doubt it’s that far out of the norm.

I saw that photo on social media, I think FB a few days ago. Like all other things that aren't my business, I scrolled right past it, giving zero shits.

As for the Karens, well, the parents are welcome to get an attorney and sue for defamation and such. I'm 100% even Karens will STFU pretty quickly if that have a pot to piss in and are in jeopardy of losing that pot.

First and foremost like 99.9% of the Karen’s I wasn’t there. Also 10 eyewitnesses will NOT state the exact same thing that they saw. Thats proven and folks also don’t use the same exact wording if saying the same thing. This where folks are cling to conspiracies


I was told last Friday what had happened to him and nothing much to it socially. The kid that did his admitted freely and over and over what he did and the kid went limp. His story has never wavered along with some there.
I finally talked with someone yesterday that would be in the know and told the exact same story. They also told more of what was happening behind the scenes and why the authorities went quiet. Take a guess

The kids injuries make sense if he blacked out from a bear hug and faceplanted. The younger kid was said to have been experiencing issues from a concussion. That 🤷‍♂️
If he was conscious he would’ve instinctively tried to stop his fall with arms hands and so forth
The 911 call was a reported fall and makes sense if the kid fell out of the bear hug. Footballers coming from a weight room session amped up. Who’d imagine any horsing around happening especially if there some jabbering going on. Heck I played ball and that is part of that life.
If it had been a fight the parents and kids would’ve said at the time it was. No one was coerced into not saying anything. You think kids can keep a secret. What about the parents sitting in their cars close by and saw it. Not sure if it was in its entirety but just the same. They released the 911 call and no where did anyone say it was a fight.

The out right lies to villainize the older kid is what’s so troubling

I get the angle from the younger kids parents. Hell I’d be pissed too. I’m not minimizing that at all rather tired of freaking Karen’s amping this up to the point it has gotten. If someone is killed because of the lies can anyone be charged with facilitating or instigating?

It’s just stupidity at all levels and speaks of the world we live in

Also make a note that I’m not perpetuating some talk I’ve heard because I don’t know for certainty and not gonna slander someone. That truth will come out if ya actually true

The case has been sent to the juvy division in Franklin and DA in Madison
Wished it’d gone to the much more experienced juvy division in Lauderdale

So much for chillin I guess........

Naw it really has calmed down from what I’ve seen probably because of his stepdad and mom saying to and folks are finallybdefending the other family and calling out the mudslinging and death threats
