Not sure how south you want to go, Fidler Farms in Silver Hill is where I get jumbos for boiling and smaller one for roasting.

Willie Motes picks up green jumbos every week and sells from his house in Jackson. When I picked up a bag of raw I got a gallon he had boiled. They were good and for the price I’d just as soon let him cook them. $15/gallon cooked.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

I’d love to get some green peanuts, as well. I don’t want the jumbo peanuts. I’m looking for peanuts to boil.

Two places below Jay FL. Lowery Farms (850) 675-0383. Holland Farms (850) 675-6876

One between Atmore and Monroeville Laurie Farms (251) 593-8815

Great people at all three.

Anybody who says they like the jumbo better have never eaten a Spanish runner peanut boiled. Way better flavor and texture too.

My Granddaddy use to be a peanut farmer. He only grew the smaller variety, so I’m partial to those. Can’t stand the jumbo peanuts.
