Was going into the back of an 18 wheeler on a clamp truck at a paper mill when he pulled away from the dock . Clamp truck was 2 wheels in truck when he pulled out I was flipped out backwards onto concrete. Had to go out on disability and still suffer today. I have suffered with pain for 10 years. Got MRI scheduled again next Wednesday. I fell about a month ago after gradually getting better. Surgery for sure this time

While in college working for Bush Hog in machine and drilling a guy dropped a drill jig on my hand and broke my pinkie on my left hand. The thing is though is that finger has been broken twice before that so it’s misshapen by now.
The most pain I’ve ever been in was early in my career a 300+ lbs beotch was trying to steal a carton (not pack) of Kools from the Piggly Wiggly by sticking the carton under her tits. They saw it and called. I responded and when I was going to arrest her she fought. I got one hand behind her back and she got ahold of my left forearm on the meaty part with her mouth. It was during the Winter so I had on a long sleeve shirt and she got me so good that it drew blood from inside the shirt. It drew a crowd and I thought I would get in trouble because I told her not too nicely “If you bite me again I’m going to break your f*#&@ing arm”. I meant it too. Apparently no one complained or Chief Melvin Summerlin, a great chief from the old school, didn’t blame me. It was bad enough I had to go to the hospital and they gave me an AIDS test because it was a relatively new disease that they were still learning about.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Had a crane operator slide a 20’ section of a concrete utility pole mold together on my right hand. It crushed the tips of my middle and ring fingers so bad they split open on the tips and it peeled the nails off from the back. That’s the most painful thing I’ve ever had happen to me. I’ve had all sorts of injuries outside of work including a broken neck, torn L5/S1 disc in my back, torn ACL, and multiple broken bones.

started roughnecking on a drilling rig 29 yrs ago at 18. Have witnessed some very bad injuries through the yrs so I've been very fortunate to not have any major work related accidents.. however my job has really taken a toll on my body over time. Had major back surgery, neck surgery, hip surgery, pinched ulnar nerve, carpal tunnel, hernia, just to name a few of the wear & tear related injuries. Will likely need more surgeries before I retire. That being said, I couldn't imagine sitting behind a desk every day, just not my cup of tea. Feel blessed just being able to work like i always have

Cat bite to the base of my right thumb (dominant hand). It swelled the size of a polish sausage. Just looking at it hurt, God forbid something actually touched it. You don't realize how much you use your thumb until you can't.

Bulging L4, back injury from a Patrol car wreck. I was headed to a wreck when I wrecked, lol! Lady made a left-hand turn (I was coming up behind her) and I T-boned her. Didn't know I was injured at the time, caught up with me later on. Still visit a chiropractor every month.

Numerous broke bones in hands and fingers , 3 bulging disc in my back, had an oil pan blow up and burn my face and eye, had my kneecap smacked to the side and had to put it back in place myself, broke my ankle. And too many cuts to even begin to count. Come to think of it, no wonder I hurt most days!

Not me but I grew up in and around cabinet shops. Worked in a few early in my life. Saw and heard enough fingers cut off that I could tell the difference in the sound of bone getting cut vs wood. Most folks go in to shock and just sit down when they cut a couple digits off. You hear the sound of bone and you go make a round through the shop and find them.
Worst I ever saw was a guys hand slipped on a table saw and the blade went between his middle finger and the one to the left. The blade went through his hand and far enough up his wrist to cut his watch in half. It was laying on the saw table in 2 pieces

There was zn older man standing there and he ask what I did. I said I build cabinets. He said, let me see your hands. I held up my hands and he laughed and said, you don't build many , held his hands up. He was missing 3 1/2.

I about blowed my left hand off shooting fireworks professionally as a side job. A 6" shell hit my thumb on the way out of the tube. It about tore my thumb off and broke my arm. It didn't explode on me thankfully. It was like being hit in the thumb by a cannon ball.
