Not me but I grew up in and around cabinet shops. Worked in a few early in my life. Saw and heard enough fingers cut off that I could tell the difference in the sound of bone getting cut vs wood. Most folks go in to shock and just sit down when they cut a couple digits off. You hear the sound of bone and you go make a round through the shop and find them.
Worst I ever saw was a guys hand slipped on a table saw and the blade went between his middle finger and the one to the left. The blade went through his hand and far enough up his wrist to cut his watch in half. It was laying on the saw table in 2 pieces
I'm in the software side of that industry....go to some of the big trade shows and it's crazy how many folks you see walking around missing fingers
Whe I was about 17 I went to the wholesale hardware warehouse to pick up some supplies. There was zn older man standing there and he ask what I did. I said I build cabinets. He said, let me see your hands. I held up my hands and he laughed and said, you don't build many , held his hands up. He was missing 3 1/2.
