However, everyone I talked to about it (Sheriff, Investigator, Circuit Court Clerk) were all extremely pessimistic about being able to prove anything. When I reminded them he admitted to it, they said he would just deny it in court. I finally dropped it. Of the folks I thought would be on my side, none were. It was like they didn't want to be bothered with it. Maybe the office in your county is different. I will also add that none of the parties involved at that time are still in office.
