Brother had his Honda 1000-5 on a single for a few years. Really wore the inside of the tires from the weight. Traded up to a dual axle with brakes and it’s night and day difference pulling it. This is why I said what I’ve said about a tandem. Singles will wear badly on the inside from the weight is a SxS. Is that all you hauled on it? I wouldn't think a 1500# sxs would would be enough to bend the axle, and I wouldn't think the tires would wear on the inside unless the axle was bent. I know mine don't. I don’t know about around the house use, but I can confidently say with certainty that commercial use, (hauling 8-12k miles a year) a single axle trailer is not designed to haul the rated load they claim. Two axles are absolutely necessary.
