I concur. Shoot our bucks early. Doe hunt and fish til turkey season. I'm upping my target number of doe kills.

So are you saying I'm not intelligent enough to understand the answer to the questions I asked so you're just not going to give an answer? That's kind of insulting. You should look into the steps and rules governing scientific method because you are totally overlooking a few of them. Is it you don't want to tell me how that data was obtained or is it you can't? I know the answer. At that point in time there was no way to obtain any SOLID data on deer harvests......none. It was all merely speculation and estimates. That's the reason game check was implemented in 2013, to collect harvest data. Prove me wrong.

By the way, your answer to my question was exactly what you are accusing the rest of us of doing.........gaslighting. You did employ multiple techniques in your answer so I will give you credit for that.

Yep, it was all just a mystery and still is……No one really knows if doe harvest went way up back then and we’ll never be able to know anything……. rolleyes

I love this place as much as anyone but y’all let an inbred pitbull stand guard at the door for years making sure there wasn’t any true education occurring for the sake of keeping the user base in the dark and easily influenced……now you’re trying to do it with Santa Claus……What is that saying…..”If it weren’t for stupidity no one could ever get rich”……Its getting to be about like the bar in Tombstone with Billy Bob Thornton as the dealer where all the high end play has went elsewhere and there aint many customers left to sell anything to……. Deep Farm doesn’t care if it’s a ghost town……Its just one less place for Alabama hunters to potentially be educated on the truth

I think Tennessee already has a 3/day limit on does. They don’t seem to be hurting on deer. I don’t think you’re gonna find many people shooting more than 1 regardless. I’d be more in favor of a hard annual limit on does. Give folks 5 doe tags and remove the daily limit.

I’ll shoot my fair share, but I only try taking one per parcel. So I’ll shoot one on a chunk of land, then try different section a couple miles away (if not an entirely different area as a whole).

Wait a minute
Didn’t cnc state that Tennessee had more deer than Alabama

It’s like a fie d said why he quit shooting a bunch of does. For every one he kills two more show up. Can’t keep them down

Game check wasn't implemented until 2013 to get an idea of the number of deer harvested in the state. That chart goes up to 2011. How accurate you reckon that data is?

How accurate do you reckon game check is? I would say not very. You only need it at a processor or if a game warden is checking you.

At least that one of the ones that keeps busting me in the swirling winds of the wildlife refuge every year. It’s gotten embarrassing by this point.

Been saying I am going to shoot a doe every year since 2011. Well the last doe I shot was 2010. I could have shot truck loads of does but I guess I just don’t want too. Maybe this year I will break my no shooting does streak.

It’s bow only and she’s 75 yards away munching on acorns then suddenly looks up and starts the stomp blow stomp stomp blow show. Or I never seen nothing and just hear the goings on back in the midst of a downwind thicket. Or the other one that walks up this other draw from west to east then turns away from whichever direction I’m setup and circles downwind to start up with the same song and dance. The only time i ain’t been busted out there is any time I don’t see no deer. I’ll move deeper in this year to catch one before they get to their favorite AO.

I asked my racist Chinese buddy why he never gets busted and he said Asians don’t stink. Now how do you like that. Gett’n called stinky be your friends

Killed 12 last yr and needed to kill more.

I hunt 3 separate tracks in the only zone that didn’t go to 2 per day and there’s more deer at all 3 of those places than the other zones I hunt where 2 a day is now legal again.
