Man has been waging war for as long as he has been in existence. I would think anyone would realize that it is a part of human nature and will be here as long as we are. Better to realize that and take steps to defend yourself than to isolate and quickly be conquered and controlled. After WWI, many Americans were in the "mind our own business" camp until Dec 7th 1941
