Anyone have one? Good experience?? I’m looking at the 600 lb stand and fill but curious about others experience. Looks like built to last but $800 seems like a lot for a feeder. All of Moultrie garbage feeders I ever owned are in the junk pile with holes from squirrels chewing plastic or one metal one because it leaked. Looking to get something good that will last a while. ASF looks great on website but what do Aldeer brethren think??

The land I help manage uses ASF 1000lb feeders and they are built very well. These are not the standard and fill ones though. I have no experience with those.

I‘ve been looking at them too.
I’m in the market to buy 4 or 5. I’d like to have 1000lbs, I would probably be fine with 600lbs though.
The top pieces look to be made of regular ole sheet metal though, that’s my only hang up.

I have no experience with that but I’ve found, with hogs in my area, is any feeder where the spinner or a cage attached to it can be bumped by a big pig will get beat to crap. If they can bump it and shake corn out, they’ll beat it to sh!t and/or drain the feeder fast. I haven’t had that problem since extending my feeder legs and getting my spinners up to face height. But that means climbing a ladder or pulling the SxS up and filling from the bed.

From what I saw with the ASF models, some have a spinner that uses centrifugal force to open and spin. That should help the inadvertent Corn- if it ain’t spinning, there ain’t an opening.

I have a few 1000# ASF stand and fill here are some tips, keep it as level as possible the rake at the bottom is not enough in my opinion if unlevel the low side won't fun down to the funnel on it's own. Don't use dirty, powdery corn they do condensate and will clog up and to that point put some weather stripping on the corners to allow some more air movement. I think there control boxes are the best on the market

I have a 300 lb All Seasons Stand & Fill. It has been in constant use for at least 7 years. I finally had to put a new battery in last year when I took it out to clean the feeder and left it unplugged from the solar panel for a week.
We also have a Lamco. Different system, still great quality feeders.
Order an Eliminator spin plate and install that before using. This keeps the skwerls from being able to rake corn off the standard plate.

I have two of those and will give you my 2 cents.
They are good feeders and operate very nicely. Some cons I’ve noticed would be if you have hogs and rain it will turn into a mud hole underneath the rails and can tilt the thing requiring you to move it periodically. Another con is with the cage, it blocks a bunch of corn from being slung outside of it and it doesn’t stop squirrels or birds from sitting inside the cage. Once they eat the loose stuff they can spin the feeder. Another tip regardless of feeder is with the metal coated solar panel wire, either knot it or put a zip tie on the cable inside of the box to prevent critters from pulling the dang thing out and getting at the wires.
Also, I’ve actually had hogs that were smart enough to remove the cage door pins, luckily not at the same time. Now I use a stainless bolt and a wing nut.

The Lamco is a really great feeder. You will not regret ever getting one. South Alabama Kubota had them at one time.

We have four of the 250 lb gravity feeders for off season feeding. Had them 10+ years. Nothing fancy and they have been solids feeders that keep the feed dry.
