We call it "The Breakfast Club" and our current favorite place is Meal and Market in Fort Payne. This place is owned by a really nice couple David and Stacey and most of the food they serve is locally sourced with the meat and eggs coming directly form their own farm. Prices are reasonable and the service is good, with most of the serves and cooks being family members. Great folks and good food... I like to get their Grit bowl which starts with some McEwen & Sons cheese grits and in my case topped with a fried egg and sausage crumbles, Mrs. Irish likes the Farmer's Omelet, and our friend and massage therapist Trish, loves their granola...
