Look for a lightweight summer carry. I'm looking at the Kahr CW380 only about 10 ounces. Does anyone have any other suggestions or have a lead on where I may find one?

Respectfully said, I'd recommend you pass on the Kahr. It is a functional gun but after a bit of shooting the frame can warp and start binding the rails. As mentioned, the Ruger LCP, LCP II, or the LCP Max are much better options. I've owned and put a decent amount of rounds through all the guns mentioned. If size is the determining factor then the S&W Body Guard II is a great choice. If you can go a little larger then the S&W M&P .380 EZ. It is a much better shooter. The S&Ws are what I carry daily, which one depends on the occasion.

I had the kahr years ago, Ruger LCP’s functions better.
Kahr was made well, but finicky about ammo and the recoil spring was ridiculously stiff. To each his own though.

If you can go a little larger then the S&W M&P .380 EZ. It is a much better shooter. Solid advice. We've got M&P Bodyguards and got Dad the E-Z with his arthritic hands. He couldn't rack a standard Bodyguard, nor load the mags, but can do both with the E-Z. Unfortunately, Parkinson's/hand tremor is taking hold, so it's back to a revolver.

10oz 380 sounds painful.
S&W 432 or 632 is my preference.

I'd look at the LCP max or the S&W Bodyguard 2.0 if I was looking for a pocket sized 380

I have 2 , a cm and pm 380, and honestly there are much better choices. As stated above the springs are very stiff, picky on ammo, 200 rd. break in. I carried it for along time until I came across the LCP Max its ugly and rattles but shoots anything I feed it and has a 10 round capacity. I carry it every day with confidence

I have a Khar CW -380 and a Ruger Max. If I was buying another.380 I’d buy a S&W Bodyguard 2.0. The Khar is very small and conceals great but it’s picky about ammo ,only holds 7 rounds and the trigger pull is similar to the original Bodyguard. The Ruger has more capacity and will eating anything. The S&W Bodyguard 2.0 feels much better . I’ve never shot one , only handled it in my LGS. Everything I’ve read and heard about them was very positive.

Kahr was made well, but finicky about ammo and the recoil spring was ridiculously stiff. To each his own though. I carry the Kahr CW380 daily and have for multiple years. The spring is still stiff. My break in period was around 350 rounds before FTF and FTE went away. Only likes Hornady and Speer. Now that it's broken in and I know the ammo, it's solid. In a sticky holster, it's so easy to carry. Waistband in gym shorts is no problem. One of the main reasons I went with it originally. Super lightweight. If I were to buy another pocket 380, it would not be the Kahr. I just stuck with it until it was solid, probably too long in hindsight.
