They do fill the voids. Thats why you need to trap at key times. Hit them hard when fawns drop. Manipulating habitat is harder for timber leases that can’t burn or thin. So trapping is a good way to impact them. Just has to be timely.
Agreed but also getting your buck to doe ratio in a better place makes for fawn drop timing to be close together and not spread out.
