Nosir , Several of the newer brands are now no def or regin unless 100+ HP.

I was also told by my dealer back when I bought mine in 2019 that all tractors 100+ hp were required to use DEF. I bought a 2019 kubota M6060 with loader and have been really happy with it so far. Only had 1 issue with it about 10 months ago when I noticed a strange knock to it. Went online and found where there was a PSB ( parts service bulletin) for certain year/serial #'s for faulty injectors and mine happen to be one that qualified. I picked up the phone and called Bondy's kubota of dothan where I bought it and told them what was going on and they sent a truck and picked it up at my house 45 minutes away and replaced all the injectors not just the 1 bad one along with all new gaskets and o-rings free of charge and delivered it back to my house all under warranty.

If you buy a Kubota, get the insurance.

I was pushing trees and a big pine slipped under the grapple. Got into the hood pretty bad. Finished the work I needed to do, and stopped by my local dealer. They started a claim, sent a rollback to pick it up, fixed it, absorbed the deductible, and brought the tractor back. Also brought back the undamaged take-off parts.

Hard to beat that service.

Oh yeah. I highly recommend this too. The KTAC insurance is absolutely unbeatable from what I have heard

As others have said definitely get the insurance. When I bought mine the dealer told me there was only 2 things the insurance didn't cover and that was a nuclear disaster and rats chewing wires. I think it only ended up costing me a little over $40 a month which was incorporated into my payments every month.

Had a 3020 that we raised from a baby. We replaced it with a 5042 with cab and air. That 3020 never gave a bit of trouble and it was used as a row crop tractor for over 20 years. John Deere is good when they are new but as they age they aren’t what they used to be. When repair time comes better get a loan. Just last week we had a 5042 quit and we took it to a diesel repair shop- not a JD shop. Come to find out the wiring harness shorted out and almost caught on fire. The wiring harness alone from JD was 2,800. Had the repair shop just go in and replace the wiring that was burned, do a complete service on all fluids and filters, and work on the loader. Total bill from the diesel shop was 2,800. I know it seems like a lot but JD would have charged at least 2x’s that.

I am looking for a 90 HP tractor now and really think I will buy a Kubota. I love a JD but they will break the bank. Just for your information-Nick Saban has bought into Tri Green equipment company. He knows where the money is at!

Warranty is only good if the dealership honors it. Foothills tractor is screwing me over on my warranty right now. The buyer is at the mercy of the seller. $$$$ is king these days. Theyre awesome the day youre buying the tractor. When th money runs out, things change.
