My problem with JD is the way they require you to go through a technician to get the computer reset on maintenance etc. That's why I didn't even look at a John Deere. I thought about a Kioti/Bobcat. I have a few friends that have them and like them. By the time I priced out a 45 horse Kioti, I was within a couple thousand of the price of a 48 horse Kubota, so that's what I bought. I saved a few thousand also by driving to the dealership in Opelaka to buy it.
