There are a couple places on the island that have tackle yes. Like TideWJO mentioned, Survivors is a good little shop and the guy running the counter is extremely helpful. I also run across the bridge to Fishermans Choice a good bit as well though, they have a larger selection of gear.

You really can't go wrong with a good topwater plug or spook at daylight and then switch to 3/4 oz gold spoons or gotcha plugs after the sun gets up. Make sure you run a good leader though because the spanish will cut standard braid and mono like its nothing. I typically throw 35lb braid with a 6-8" 80lb mono leader.
