He had his trusty Marlin in 35 Rem and a green Stanley thermos of coffee, I had a Stevens double barrel. I was one of those fidgety kids like they showed in Lifesaver commercials. He looked at me and gruffly said “Be Still”, a life lesson that has made me the ultimate hunter and successful in my Military career. I’m alive today many times over I believe because of this lesson.
