Got my eastern back I killed in April of ‘24. This turkey got mounted because he was big, but also because he’s the first and only turkey I’ve killed on a 47 acre tract I bought several years ago. It would be hard to get a prettier mount. This bird took a 2nd place ribbon last weekend at the ATA show. I don’t have an eastern mounted yet. I’m waiting to kill one with 1.5 spurs. I probably will save that $700 bucks lol

Most can do a good body (not all) but few can do a good head. That is a well done head! Looks great! Yea, kept it clean despite all the instinct to veer off

How long was the beard Matt? 12.25” I think. I know it was 12” or longer. I’ve killed 3 birds with a 12”+ beard in my life and he was one of them. One was around 20 years ago. The third was this season and he would’ve got mounted if this one wasn’t already there to be done. 😂
