In the 30 years that I’ve been hunting and paying for my own club memberships/leases, I’ve spent a little over $50K. Many areas, at a given time, the going rate for that land was $750-1200/ac. I could have bought my own 40-50ac parcel with what I’ve spent to be on other people’s land.
