Need to hit it with a grass select herbicide…..What would be great is if you could go through spraying like 6-8 ft swaths through the stand and then skip say 4-6 ft and spray another swath and so on.....so that you're thinning the grass and not completely eliminating it……or……you could run some cows across for a few days to let them target graze the grasses and fertilize the broadleafs……I kinda wonder though with it all being stressed and yellowy how well they would graze it. If you look the plant color is a yellow hue on a lot of it and many of the tips on the grasses are firing browns and purples……It might depend on the breed of cattle how finicky they would be to such.
