Not sure why they can’t drop the bombs out of a c-130. Might not be ideal but we don’t need another Iraq.
That’s great we can get their leadership but their population isn’t much better. We got that ghadaffi guy and look how Lybia turned out. We got Sadam, and look how Iraq turned out. We got under minded beshar and look how Syria turned out. Those people over there aren’t like us. I support what Israel is doing but we don’t need to be overly involved.
C- 130 can't deliver the 30,000 lb GBU-57-MOP. This job is what the MOP was designed for .
They can deliver the MOAB, and c-130 max payload is 40,000lbs+. Hell, give them a c-17 for free for all I care for the one mission. Might not get the penetration they want due to height of drop but I’d rather they try that out than involve us.
