My gut feeling is that Israel had intel something was imminent. They hit first, discovered it was worse than thought, or at minimum confirmed their intel, and we got involved to ensure whatever it is they have or were planning, doesn’t occur. Trumps reaction the last 36-48 hours leaves me to believe Iran may already have the weapon and we are going to finish this quickly.
So when Israel first started bombing a couple of days ago and said that Iran was hours away from having a bomb, they may have just been telling the truth. How bout that? I believe it FWIW.
I believe it too. And I think that’s why Trump has left no option on the table other than complete surrender, as well as warning the residents to leave immediately.
