That's great! I've wanted to catch one of those for decades, but never was motivated enough to try.

In your book, I read about the Choctaw Bass, and that was a new one for me that I had never heard of before. But I might have caught one without knowing. I went with an uncle a couple years ago and we put in on Perdido River close enough to the mouth that the tides influenced it. Then we went up Blackwater Creek that flows through Baldwin county, and caught several fish that I thought were Alabama bass. Would those have been Choctaws? Seems like that is their area.
