This is unprecedented. It’s been awful. It rains every Dadgum day. Try doing growing season burns and planting crops for clients in it. Can’t be done. I’ve been shut down since late April. Thankfully I had a lot of other stuff to work on.

Doing it again here. Started after lunch. I just replaced 8 squash plants this morning that all the rain killed

I watched stuff float across my yard earlier, and I live on a hilltop.

Y’all Yankees can’t bitch about too much rain.
Those of us down here in LA were told to be thankful for it when we got inundated for almost 5 straight years.
Everybody in Yankee land was begging for rain at that time.

Unfortunately, we are 3 weeks into another round of unprecedented rainfall in my area.

Yes i'm a complainer too ,but what the lord gives us is what we have take. He's got reason. . My fig trees love the rain but it must get dry by fig picking time or the rain washes em out and They get so soaked they rupture they have no taste until things dry up again.

My persimmon trees seem to always do better with early rains then they like things to get dry. If it rains too too much they fall off the tree while still green and orange colored.

But hey, look it, we ought to have one neck of a veggie harvest this year. The Big game and small game should be healthy with all the rains growing all they care to eat .

There’s plenty of clover, green briar, and field grass for sure…

Went to crank the mower this evening because the grass finally dried out. Nope can't cut grass. Some damn switch went out. Probably because it got wet.

I am in the same boat as Matt. About had to go all throw and mow on millet and grain sorghum. Took all the angle out of the disc and broadcast some corn Friday only on high ground. The only good thing I can find is weeds ain't to bad on ground that has been underwater. Had a few hen turkeys I have seen that I am pretty sure their nests got flooded. Did see 1 with three little ones and 1 with 5

I was amazed that it didn't rain in Calera yesterday. We have been pretty lucky to be somewhat dry on the weekends.

When I’m in Baldwin County it rains every afternoon. When I’m in Houston County it rains every afternoon. When I’m in Montgomery County it rains every afternoon. I’m starting to see a pattern here. lol
