I drive an hour and change to work every day. I take back roads. For the last few years, I've noticed these company vehicles are in no hurry to get to work. Most drive 10 mph under the speed limit. I'm just trying to get to work, but they obviously aren't. WTF!

Who are you referring to as “company vehicles “?

This?You talking farmers, cops, Napa truck, framers, concrete truck, heating and air guys, plumbers, cable guys???? Hard to tell theses day several unmarked running the roads. GPS speed monitoring can’t go fast.

Most company vehicles these days have trackers in them and you run the risk of losing your job if you are over the speed limit, so that may be a factor.

Electric Companies, Plumbing Companies, Dish Network, etc. No, not farmers.

Got behind a plumbing truck this morning on a back road. They were 10-15 mph below speed limit. Road does have some curves but damn.

Passed at the first opportunity, even though it was solid yellow line. He was going so slow only took about 3 seconds to pass.

One of my places is on the twisted sisters in Texas. The reason I understand Quailman is because of this. Its one thing to drive slow but its another not to pull over and let traffic pass so inpatient drivers don’t have to pass in a no passing zone putting oncoming traffic in danger.

I’ve seen/been in the worst of the worst scenarios on the sisters almost every trip !

Only a complete azzhole would impede traffic flow for more than a few miles without yielding to drivers behind them putting oncoming traffic in danger.

On the sisters you have everything from Ferrari, Porsche, Vette, and every other conceivable sports car, vintage, hotrod, motorcycle, and bicycle club mixed with farm equipment, grandpas, trailers, exotic animals jumping out, and occasional topless chics hiking and jogging. Some trailers cannot make some of the 10mph curves without being in both lanes, physically impossible. Its a hell of a thing.

Texas has a tradition of moving over to let people pass and they are supposed to thank’em with a wave.

The only thing I’ve seen that gives me more satisfaction than the topless chicks is the AZZHOLES that mistake the real biker gangs for the weekend warrior bikers and they flip them off, the real bikers have issued some severe azzholewhoopings to these types. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

I’m not saying its not warranted to be impatient with these azzholes either, do think about your family and oncoming drivers when you get this way…please !

My last court proceeding in Alabama was a ticket for “racing’. The story, I was in the slow-lane coming back from a concert at Mississippi Coast Colosseum with a girl’s face in my lap. A car comes hauling azz past me in the fast lane. Next thing I see is a GreyGhost fly past me with lights on. What I see after that is a yellowish thing that looks like a light saber waving in my lane making me stop behind the other guy. The PIG statetrooper writes me a ticket for “racing on the interstate highway’. I go to court to fight this on my own without a lawyer and I lose, or did I ?

I explained the situation to the judge to include the chic’s face in my lap and his reply reverberated off the walls, ‘Anytime 2 cars are side by side and one is accelerating then thats racing”. This did not sit well with me and I fired back that “you just described traffic” The end result was ‘Jail or Military ?”.

Both the cop and judge are probably dead and I’ve had an adventurous life and retired at 39 years old…I won !

I ustah have a truck that was low jacked…you pop 75mph and you was getting a call from the corporate office …they fired people all the time for breaking that rule…so…you may be behind someone with no choice in the matter

Driving under the speed limit isn't just something company vehicles do. It seems like everywhere I go, people drive under. Not to mention the 5 to 10 second delay when the light turns green for drivers to get off their cell phones.

We got stuck on mothers day night, coming back from GA behind an oversize load with state trooper escort that blocked both lanes. Somewhere after Ranburne on i-20 and were stuck until we got to Anniston. Then they pulled over to the 2 left lanes, and no one wanted to pass the troopers on the right.

Speed range was 35 to 60, on a 70mph interstate. Those that didn't get around had to wait until Pell City to get 3 lanes to pass. It's insane.
