Halleluhah.
That woman never said no to rate increase from what I can recall.
When Alabama Power was wasting all that money on DEI bs and pollution control for climate change costing our power bills to skyrocket.
Bring back coal and burn baby burn. So you think the only reason APCO spent all that money on pollution control was to make your bill go up and piss you off? My job for most of my 40 years in the business was designing and supervising the construction of air pollution control projects for the power company. I won the highest engineering award the company could give for my efforts. I like to think I did a lot to save the environment for future generations. Forests destroyed by acid rain is not a pretty sight. Trust me we didn't build all of that because we wanted to charge people more money. We all worked extremely hard to do it as efficiently and cost effectively as possible and we faced a lot of challenges. As a matter of fact we demolished some plants instead of spending the money to bring them up to the required emission standards. The power utility business is quite possibly the most highly regulated industry in the United States. It is extremely difficult for a utility company to provide reliable power, when the administration changes every 4 years and places completely different regulations on the production of energy. I some cases is takes 4 years just to research, develop, test and design some of those systems. not to mention getting the necessary permits and building any of it.
