Ironic……named for a draft dodger For a war that the CIA used a false flag to get 50,000 young American men killed. Then when college kids were protesting, so the CIA used a movie studio to create the narrative that it was only hippies that were against the war and people bought it. Nobody takes doubt it was a bad deal. I just have family that lost their lives over there and old friends who came back messed up…..but the elites dodged it. Not just Trump Yet you're still a democrat. You do realize that while 4 presidents presided over, at various times, the Vietnam era, it's always been considered the democrat's war as they were responsible for the major escalations. LBJ in particular. Never voted democrat in my life

Most of those who actually served there aren't mad about all the millions of other Americans who did not serve.... just like Trump. They got a pass if they were in school...like Trump... that was a routine thing. After graduation he was listed with a high number on the list for medical reasons which can be because of a variety of things.
But he was never drafted so he can't be a "draft dodger" right?
I mean that is pretty rich. Is your father a "Draft Dodger" too? Who in your family was eligible for the Vietnam Draft and didn't get drafted... do you sit around at Christmas and call them a draft dodger?
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Probably should go see how many former presidents got deferments. Ol Joe had 5 like Pres Trump did, as well as Clinton. Do they have a military base named for them? Clinton has a Navy boat, an aircraft carrier, named after him. So yes to answer your question!

USS John Adams (SSBN-620) Ballistic Missile submarine, USS Thomas Jefferson (SSBN-618) Ballistic Missile sub , USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CVB/CVA/CV-42) Air Craft Carrier. These among others did not serve in the armed forces yet have naval vessels named after them. Forts...I'll be looking that up...
