It seems to me your logic is more focused on taking pot shots and using "sound bites" like the media does, rather than sound decision making. Trump is straight up America First. He is straight up for the military to be the best it can be.

You do realize that while 4 presidents presided over, at various times, the Vietnam era, it's always been considered the democrat's war as they were responsible for the major escalations. LBJ in particular.
