I really can't blame a young man. It's just inviting the government into your home life. The people that "co-parented" the best never got married and never had to fight it out in court.

Anyone not preparing for divorce on their wedding day is as naive as someone going to casino as a retirement plan
The house always wins.

The Seven Year Itch it’s called

I’d say out of the 600 plus weddings I shot. I knew of about 35% that split. The ones that were older when they married seems to be more solid
Very few surprises about the ones that split.

The sad is truth is marriage has a 75% failure rate. 50% divorce and half of those that remain married wish they weren't and hang around for other reasons. I left women alone about 4 years ago. It's been the happiest 4 years of my life, lots of hunting, fishing, hanging out with friends. Plus, I'm available to look after my guy friends when the inevitable divorce papers show up. I'd have liked to have kids and wife, etc... but I do truly believe I'm the happiest guy that I personally know most of the time. It's hard to argue with success.
