I’d say out of the 600 plus weddings I shot. I knew of about 35% that split. The ones that were older when they married seems to be more solid
Very few surprises about the ones that split.

They don’t get married because that way they can knock up their girlfriend, which basically gets her a free education and all the goodies the government can provide. Can’t get the goodies if you are married. The kneegrows figured it out five decades ago but the white folks have now got it figured out, including some pretty well off ones.

I got custody of my sons plus child support and ex has to carry their medical coverage. She has no vote on the important issues either. In Jefferson county.

What I have noticed in the dating world is women want to be taken care of, and absolved of taking care of their man. And if they have a dog or dogs, they are unbearably a pain in the butt. I had one give me static about not owning a dog. She just couldn't understand why I wouldn't want one. To each his own.

So if I am already cooking, cleaning, washing my own clothes and handling everything else, why do I need to add another dependent? I have really gotten jaded about the whole thing. I miss the days you meet a woman at a party and then date. Now, it seems like they just go from dude to dude.

The sad is truth is marriage has a 75% failure rate. 50% divorce and half of those that remain married wish they weren't and hang around for other reasons. I left women alone about 4 years ago. It's been the happiest 4 years of my life, lots of hunting, fishing, hanging out with friends. Plus, I'm available to look after my guy friends when the inevitable divorce papers show up. I'd have liked to have kids and wife, etc... but I do truly believe I'm the happiest guy that I personally know most of the time. It's hard to argue with success.
