Remember last year. Came out the gate strong and withered later on
One farmer I know hit a 100 bushel average and usually is 200 bushel. 100 bushel don’t pay the bills
Oh yeah, half their corn fields are irrigated

To further illustrate rain and corn it’s the timing of rainfall and how much A few years ago we got done with corn first of May. I planted bean and came back to plant duck hole with corn and it was almost 1 month to the day of last field corn planted. Basically first of June I planted 6 acres of duck hole. Zero input, burned it down with just gly and nothing else. No fertilizer, zero. The duck hole corn out performed the field corn significantly same ground, soil etc…… Corn on the right was planted with no inputs and a month later ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/Z50cgV1b/IMG-8132.jpg)

Well I looked out the back door at the gauge. Another 7/8” last night. We lost power last night from 2:30 to 7:30 this morning. I guess the ground has got saturated so much a tree fell. I forgot to mention about 3 weeks ago after a heavy rain a dead oak fell on my son’s car and totaled it. So I’m ready for at least one dry week

Yes, I'm sick of this rain. Couldn't mow the lawn this weekend because it's too wet. Luckily, I applied PGR to my lawn two weeks ago and it's working very well to keep vertical growth to a minimum. Have been cutting my Bermuda at 7/16" but may have to raise it to 1/2" later this week.

tough to make a living when yards are underwater… Man... I feel for you brother. We got our yard guy out yesterday when we got a little clearing and I'm glad we did now.

I went to tear out a dam and put a trap in a drainage ditch this morning. Like an idiot I got knee boots out of the truck instead of my hip boots. Took longer than I thought went over my boots then the rain came down in sheets walking out lol
