One of my bigger bucks was really ran down he shed Friday night and I was able to find one of his. I wish I could find the other one and I wouldn’t ever worry about killing him. He’s five years old this year . I don't think so, anyone in my club would have kept it, it was only 12 inches off the ground, They were found in Warren county, west central Ms!

Thats a stud JD and nice shed Yes Sir - I hope you get a crack at him next year. My son and I used to shed hunt before turkey season and found some decent ones, but nothing like that.

Read an interesting story about guys shed hunting and killing bucks near where the sheds were found. That's pretty typical in areas the deer don't get pushed around by inclement weather and deep snow. Mountain deer often drop a long way from their normal ranges if it's a rough winter. With winters like this past one up here, I think a lot of them shed in their core areas.
