Every evening, we eat dinner on the back porch and watch the deer across the lake come out and drink water. Yesterday evening one of the deer came out and got in the water up to about her belly and was lowering down into the water like she was bathing or cooling off. Then she would stand up and shake her body and head shaking the water off like a dog. After watching this for a few minutes, another deer came out into the water with her and started splashing her and chasing each other around. It was quite an sight and the first time I’ve ever seen deer do something like that.
If voting made any difference, they wouldn’t let us do it.-Mark Twain
