Torn as to which one to get. The lighter bantam or the big bog pod? Thanks

I think the bantam only has a max height of 44” and a min height of 20”.

I have both, the death grip is more stable for a kid to hold steady with. For an adult, it's hard to beat the bantam for the ease of packing and carrying.

Depends on the application. If you are going to be carrying it and being mobile then defintely the Bantam. If you want something to throw in a shooting house then the Death Grip. I have both and use them in different scenarios.

I use the deathgrip a lot coyote hunting and my kids use it during deer season. I know the weight is a bit more than the bantam but it offers a lot more flexibility. Also, if you are not opposed to a used one and are in the birmingham area call Thermal Hunting as they just got done with their trade in program and had a bunch for $100.

Neither. Vanguard Veo 2 is way easier to carry and very versatile. Opinions will vary.

I have two of the Bogpod Deathgrips for my kids to shoot with. We keep one at the camp and the other stays at home for practicing…I bought these simply based off of price, and they have been great for us!!
Like others have mentioned: these are not made for run-and-gun type situations. They are heavy to tote around!!

Not taking shots at you
My step kid could literally not hit broad side of barn - death grip solved that
Before i fixed my trigger when it was at 8# pressure - i had some horrible misses and more than a few of them - struggle for years
Fix trigger - problem gone and i practise now several times a year i go out and make 3-5 shots per time

death grip over bantam.
hunting off the ground or a run-n-gun situation is the only application i can see the bantam has a use and i have one
the standard death grip weighs 1lb more best i recall than the carbon death grip
the death grip was my first tripod , it was awesome until i shot off a buddy’s really nice two vets tripod. i ended up piecing together a “middle of the road” tripod off amazon. leofoto tripod and a artcise 44mm ball head for less than $250. it’s lighter than the carbon death grip, more stable, and exponentially more smooth while aiming. several of my guns mount directly to the arca/swiss mount of the ball head, can get a clamp mount for guns without a arca mount. if i had it to do over, i would get a smaller ball head (36-38mm) to save more weight.

Before i fixed my trigger when it was at 8# pressure 8 pounds..... holy crap. I set mine to as little over 1 pound as I can get away with.
