The only bad part about starting early is that you have to constantly look over your shoulder and it kinda puts a damper on the season a bit if you get caught. I don’t think folks will feel as compelled to start early under new management. I’m for March 15th-April like most the rest of y’all Meh outlaws suck regardless, got nothing for anyone who starts early. John Doe has been turkey hunting for years and has legally started on March 15 ever since that date was put in place. Then, one year, the "gubment" arbitrarily changes the opening date to March 25 based on flawed "research". John Doe continues starting on March 15 just like he always did legally, but now he's a "poacher"....... John Doe legally owned a "bump stock", then one day the "gubment" arbitrarily said "oh, you can't have those anymore". But John Doe kept the bump stock he already legally purchased and owned, and now he's a "felon"..... Only difference in those 2 situations is that ALDeer slams John Doe for poaching but considers him a freedom-loving patriot for defying the bump stock "ban"..... What am I missing? Easy. With one example owning a bump stock does absolutely nothing to harm or inhibit a fellow citizen from life, liberty or the pursuit of happiness. A neighbor killing a game animal out of the season that uses several properties is directly impacting everyone else’s ability to pursue happiness by removing a public resource that does not solely belong to him. Apples to oranges.
