I just use the scan tool to make it default to "off" never thought about it again after that. What is this sorcery you speak of? And will it void your warranty? I don’t think it will void your warranty. On a Ford they use a program called forescan. Something like that. You can change a lot of the unwanted features. It helps if you know a ford technician
