Heck yeah. About time

I’m tired of almost hitting deer the past week or so. They’re moving.

Saw three does munching on 10 inch corn the other morning. Bad when they eating corn stalks.

When I’m on the golf course it’s move or get hit. Never hit one though. My driver is not what it used to be.

A few red wolves would go a long way.

As a father of 3 kids under the age of 10, who doesn't get to go hunting but maybe 5-6 times during deer season I like having the opportunity to kill 2 does a day. Just because you can kill 2 does, doesn't mean you have to or even should, but having the option is nice.

Thank goodness that all Alabama hunters use sound judgement

Something like that.

I rarely killed two does that way . Mine come out of a group . I'll kill one and just set there few minutes later a sister or daughter will come looking for her . I've done that some many times it ain't funny . Oh yeah . Never shoot the biggest doe in a group , it problely a 1 1/2year old with short spikes . Lol

We can fill our doe tags in SC whenever we want to. Filling two in the same day is all fun and games until you are processing two deer at 11pm under the flood lights. I guess if you have the means to drop them at the processor at the same time it’s not that big of a deal. For those that process their own, it’s not all that great and it only takes one time to figure out you won’t do it again. Having hunted bama a good bit in my life I realize there are places that two does in a day won’t make a dent in the population, but there’s a lot of places that would be detrimental. A tag system isn’t the most ideal solution, but it might be a good idea for the low density areas. Allowing such a liberal doe harvest in many areas in AL is not a good idea in my opinion.

I have and it brings lots of sausage home. Usually I look for a pair off by themselves or the last o leave.

I’ve shot as many as 5 in one hunt and will do it again. 😁

Obviously it’s site specific. I’m glad to have the opportunity to kill more than one a day, because most of the places I hunt or manage could use the help. There’s a whole lot of deer in places.

Shot 6 one morning and my buddy shot 3. We filled the freezer in one day. Soybean days in Union Springs. Good times

Horrible decision that will have far more negative impacts than positive

My reasoning is that I hunt more than the average hunter and never cared to deal with more than one or two dead deer a day. My "glory" days in Bama were during the buck a day limit and I always killed double digit bucks during the season and never doubted a full freezer so that played a factor.
