The site is up and running again. There is a lot of restoration work I have to do but ya'll can get at it. We got new bells and whistles to play with also.
What happened?
Back in November the company that Aldeer was hosted on got sold to another company.
On March 16th the auto-backup process for Aldeer stopped. The new company did not restart it. When that happens data begins to pile up and it caused the progressive slow down you all suffered through.
I went to get the new company to clean it up and get it running right and that guy in another country would not get it done or even attempt to get it done. So i had to move the entire website, root directories and all to another service and get our forum software updated. The process of updating is still on going.
We lost all posts made after March 16th. It could have been everything. We probably lost new members since that time. I'm still checking and working on things.
So thats where we are at but we are back.
So carry on and tell your friends that we are back up and running.
